Overview

This privacy policy explains how apps developed by Greg McInnes ("I", "me", or "my") handle your information. I am committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about my data practices.

Data Collection

Most of my apps do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.

All app data, including settings, preferences, and any content you create, is stored locally on your device. For most apps, this data never leaves your device and is not accessible to me or any third parties.

Exception for AI-Powered Features: Some apps (such as GreenGauge) offer AI-powered features that require transmitting your app data to third-party services. See the app-specific information below for details.

Third-Party Services

My apps do not integrate with third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. There are no ads, no analytics SDKs, and no data brokers involved.

Exception for AI Features: Apps that offer AI-powered features (such as automated coaching insights) use Firebase and OpenAI to process your data and generate recommendations. This data is transmitted only when you use these features, is not stored by me, and does not include personally identifiable information. See app-specific information below for details.

Data Storage

All data is stored locally on your device using standard iOS storage mechanisms. This includes:

• App settings and preferences
• Any content or data you create within the app
• Usage history (if applicable to the app)

If you delete the app, all associated data is permanently removed from your device.

iCloud

Some apps may use iCloud to sync data across your devices. If enabled, this data is stored in your personal iCloud account and is subject to Apple's privacy policy. I do not have access to your iCloud data.

Children's Privacy

My apps do not knowingly collect any information from children. Apps designed for children (such as educational games) store all data locally and do not require any personal information to use.

Changes to This Policy

I may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.

App-Specific Information

Top Set Timer

Top Set Timer stores the following data locally on your device:

• Timer settings (rest duration, HIIT intervals, EMOM settings)
• Sound and notification preferences
• Selected theme/appearance settings

No data is transmitted from the app. No account or sign-in is required.

Top Set Calculator

Top Set Calculator stores the following data locally on your device:

• Unit preferences (kg or lb)
• Plate inventory and custom plate colors (Premium)
• Calculation history and saved lifts

No data is transmitted from the app. No account or sign-in is required.

GreenGauge

GreenGauge stores the following data locally on your device and optionally syncs to your personal iCloud account:

• Round scores and statistics (fairways, greens, putts, penalties)
• Course information and custom strategy notes
• Performance history and analytics data
• App settings and preferences

AI Insights Feature: When you use the automated coaching insights feature, your performance statistics (scores, fairways hit, greens in regulation, putts, etc.) are transmitted to Firebase and OpenAI to generate personalized recommendations. This data:

• Does not include your name, email, or other personally identifiable information
• Is used only to generate insights and is not stored or retained by me
• Is subject to Firebase's and OpenAI's respective privacy policies
• Is transmitted only when you actively use the insights feature

Your golf data is never sold to third parties or used for advertising purposes.
