Frequently Asked Questions
How do I calculate my one-rep max? Enter the weight you lifted and the number of reps you completed. The app will show you estimated 1RM values from multiple proven formulas including Epley, Brzycki, and more.
What is RPE and how do I use it? RPE (Rate of Perceived Exertion) is a scale from 1-10 that measures how hard a set felt. An RPE of 10 means you couldn’t do another rep. Use the RPE Calculator to find the right weight for your target reps and intensity.
How accurate is the plate calculator? The plate calculator shows the closest possible weight using your available plates. If the exact weight can’t be achieved, it will round to the nearest achievable load.
What strength score formulas are supported? Top Set Calculator includes Wilks, DOTS, and IPF GL formulas—the most widely used coefficients for comparing strength across bodyweights.
Is my data backed up? All settings and preferences are stored locally on your device. Data is not synced to the cloud or backed up automatically.
Troubleshooting
Calculations seem incorrect? Make sure you’ve selected the correct unit (kg or lb) for your inputs. Double-check that weight and rep values are entered correctly.
App crashing or freezing? Try closing and reopening the app. If the problem persists, try deleting and reinstalling the app. Your settings are stored locally so you may need to reconfigure your preferences.
